Our Town is a Pulitzer Prize winning play that has been performed for over eighty-five years. The author describes it as “an attempt to find a value above all price for the smallest events in our daily life.” Its universal themes of family, love, marriage and death have made it a classic that continues to move audiences wherever it is performed. One line from the play captures this idea, “you’ve got to love life to have life, and you’ve got to have life to love life.”

Footliters' 60th Season in Cadillac!!

We need your memories, pictures, and memorabilia!

The Cadillac Footliters began as a dream of a group of people with a love for theatre. After much determination and work, the group was incorporated in October of 1964 and purchased the Old Center Theatre building in downtown Cadillac where we performed our first play, “The Night of January Sixteenth” on Nov. 5-7, 1964.

Through trials, tribulations, and much evolution, our 60th Season is upon us and we want to do it up right - we are in the midst of creating a number of multimedia presentations and archival efforts to present our past and ensure it is properly saved for the future.

If YOU have any pictures, stories, videos or other materials that you wouldn't mind sharing - - we'd love to see it/them. Please email us at info@cadillacfootliters.com and we will put our archival experts on to you for the best way to convey your memories of the Footliters.

Thank you, in advance, for anything you can share!

Support Your Favorite Hometown Community Theatre

After a successful run of 39 Steps in September, Footliters returns for our next Season 59 show - a special two-night fundraising event (see details below!) at Fox Hill Event Center, January 13 & 14 for Tony & Tina's Wedding! Next up for auditions is the hilarity of Too Much Light Makes the Baby go Blind (January 15/16).

As usual, though, we can't do it without YOU. As an audience member, volunteer, or MEMBER, Footliters runs on the time, effort, and dollars of those generous enough to donate. If you haven't done so already, we hope you will make us part of your year-end giving by renewing (or starting!) your Footliters membership for Season 59. You can do so online by clicking the button below!

We hope you and your family are healthy and happy and we look forward to seeing you in person very soon as we continue our decades-long effort to engage, enrich, and entertain in this, our 59th Season. --Joseph Baumann, Footliters President
