March 6, 7, 13, 14 - 2009
Cadillac High School Auditorium
Friday 8:00pm ~ Saturday 2:00pm & 8:00pm
Imagine you are one of eight people snowed in at a country inn, surrounded by 5-foot drifts, no contact with the outside world--and one of you is a killer! This is the premise of Agatha Christie's "The Mousetrap", running continuously on stage in London for over 55 years. Jennifer Harrison and Richard Kraemer of Cadillac portray the proprietors of Monkswell Manor Guest House, whose guests include an artsy young man played by James Brunk, III, of Cadillac. Also arriving in the middle of the storm are an impossible-to-please retired jurist, Mary Kibbe of Manton; a retired Army Major, Mel Stewart of Cadillac; and a mysterious woman with a vague past, Diana Curtiss of Cadillac. Showing up unexpectedly is a mysterious foreigner with a muddled accent played by Tom Crosby of Cadillac. Det. Sgt. Trotter, David Delgado of Cadillac, braves the storm to warn the guests their lives are in danger. True to human nature, they all have secrets they wish to keep hidden, making everyone suspect.
Tickets for the Cadillac shows are available at Brinks Custom Framing and The UPS Store in Cadillac and in Lake City at Baked Beans.
There will also be a dinner theater performance at Kettunen Center in Tustin on March 15. The band Mulligan Stew will be performing Irish music before and during the 5 pm dinner, with the play following. Call (231) 829-3421 to reserve Kettunen Center tickets.
